Our Homes

Our Homes Provide Safety, Serenity & Strength

Every person should have access to safety in their own home, and so when women and children who are fleeing violence, homelessness or poverty reach out to us, we strive to provide safe spaces that help create a sense of safety, serenity and strength. This is the reason why our shelters are called ‘homes’: our goal is that each location be an actual physical house that has all the comforts and feels like what a home should be to the women and children who reside there.

Once within our homes, residents can stay for as long as they need  as they work towards their goals of independence with their caseworkers. Average stay of our residents is 3-4 months.

Each of our locations has on-site staff and a 24/7 security system and it is close to schools, public transit, and shopping. The homes have children’s play rooms, an office, common living areas, and on-site laundry.

We also offer remote services for those women who either cannot or do not need to access a shelter, but still require support. Visit our Services page to see the full list of what we offer.

We need your support to help provide these safe spaces for women and children. Please consider a donation or fundraising for us!
