Child and Youth Program

Helping children and youth navigate challenges through mentorship and specialized care.

At Sakeenah, we believe that prioritizing children’s emotional and psychological well-being is just as important as the shelter we provide. Helping children to overcome past experiences supports their growth into being confident, empowered, and resilient individuals.

This is why we have introduced the Child and Youth Program for children aged 3-17. The program is designed to meet the children’s individual needs while focusing on healthy development.

This program will be facilitated with age-appropriate activities and discussions with other peers to enhance development in the following areas: social-emotional learning, health and nutrition, essential life skills, social development, educational support, and more!

Through the delivery of this program, the children and youth will be provided with a supportive environment where they can learn, heal, express themselves safely, and be empowered to make healthy choices allowing them to grow as individuals.
